1. This is the extent to which the tube has intensified the light emitted by the input screen.
2. The ratio of the brightness of the output phosphor to that of the input phosphor.
3. Overall brightness gain = flux gain * minification gain.
4. Gain is not a measurable quantity, we measure performance using its conversion factor.
5. Conversion factor is the ratio of output brightness (candela/m) to the dose rate at the input screen (μGy/s).
