TECHNETIUM-EXCRETION

Primarily via the GIT and kidneys:
1. 30% in the urine over 24hrs.
2. 25-35% in faeces over 48hrs.
3. 50% excreated in 50hrs.
4. Colonic activity appears at 1hr and is not reabsorbed, hence further excretion is dependent on bowel activity.
