PET-RADIOPHARMACEUTICALS

1. Positron-emitting radionuclides are used for PET.

2. 18 F, as fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG), is used in approximately 85% of all clinical PET applications.

3. Rubidium-82 ( 82 Rb) is used to assess myocardial perfusion using PET/CT imaging systems.

4. Tl-201 and Tc-99 m based myocardial perfusion agents are used in scintillation cameras.
