EARLY CHANGES
1. Involvement of MCPJ, PIPJ, sparing of the DIPJ.
2. Erosion of the head of MC + ulna styloid.
3. Reduction in joint space.

LATE CHANGES
1. Loss of joint space.
2. Carpal destruction.
3. MCPJ & PIPJ subluxation.
4. Z-deformity of thumb.
5. PIPJ erosion - active disease.
