RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS-SYSTEMIC

1. Eyes - redness of Sjogren's syndrome (10-15%), B/L nodular scleritis (rheumatoid nodule of the sclera), scleromalacia (scleral erosion), cataracts, conjunctival palor (iron deficiency anaemia).
2. Mouth - dry mouth, dental caries.
3. Parotid enlargement.
4. TMJ crepitus.
5. Neck - tenderness, reduction in rotational movement, Lhermitte's sign (pannus anterior to the peg).
6. Chest - pleural effusion, pulmonary fibrosis, Caplan's syndrome (pulmonary rheumatoid nodules + pneumoconiosis).
7. Abdomen - hepato-splenomegaly, Felty's syndrome.
