SUDDEN ONSET DYSPNOEA DIFFERENTIALS

1. A/W pleuritic chest pain - pneumonia, PE, pleurisy, trauma, pneumothorax.

2. A/W central + non-pleuritic chest pain - AMI, PE.

3. No chest pain - PE, APO, respiratory acidosis.

4. A/W cough + wheeze - COPD, asthma, CCF, inhalation of bronchial irritants.
