CAUSES OF ABDUCENS PALSY

Unilateral:
1. Central - vascular lesions, tumour.
2. Peripheral - tumour, trauma, raised ICP, DM.

Bilateral:
1. Trauma.
2. Raised ICP.
3. Mononeuritis multiplex.
4. A/W Wernicke's encephalopathy (triad of opthalmoplegia, ataxia and confusion).
