STROKE-PARIETAL LESIONS

"Cortical" sensory signs are often present:
1. Contralateral loss of 2-point discrimination
2. Tactile agnosia
3. Agraphesthesia - inability to recognize letters drawn on their palm
4. Sensory inattention/neglect - failure to perceive tactile stimuli on the opposite side of the involved hemisphere when stimuli are presented to both sides simultaneously
