STRENGTH TRAINING AND GAIT

1. Strength training should be considered for persons with mild to moderately lower extremity function in both subacute (Level Evidence C) and chronic phases (Evidence Level B) of recovery.

2. Strength training does not affect tone or pain (Level Evidence A).
