ARGYLL ROBERTSON PUPIL

TIP: the most common cause of this condition is syphilis, hence known as 'prostitute's pupils': can accomodate but does not react!

Characterised by:
1. small, irregular, unequal pupils
2. absence of the light reflex
3. prompt accomodation reflex
4. pupils slowly dilate with mydriatics
