1. Medications
2. Vitamin B12 deficiency (may have associated polyneuropathy/myelopathy)
3. Heavy metal poisoning (arsenic, mercury, and lead)
4. Hypothyroidism
5. DM
6. CSDH (especially in alcoholics, in patients on anticoagulants, and in elderly patients with a history of falls)
7. NPH
8. Tumors, especially involving the frontal lobes
9. Infection and inflammation: AIDS, Neurosyphilis, Neurosarcoidosis, Chronic meningitis, Lupus cerebritis, Vasculitis
