OESOPHAGEAL SCLERODERMA AND SYSTEMIC SCLEROSIS-MANAGEMENT

1. If esophagitis is present, begin aggressive PPI therapy.

2. Perform a follow-up endoscopy at 2-3 months to confirm healing and to assure adequacy of the PPI dose.

3. Any stricture can be safely dilated using standard techniques.
