HYPOGLYCAEMIA-CLINICAL

1. Symptoms are autonomic (palpitations, tremor, sweating, paresthesias) and

2. neuroglycopenic due to CNS glucose deprivation (confusion, impaired conscious­ness, seizures).

3. Usually, autonomic symptoms happen first.

4. Signs of hypoglycemia are non-specific (pallor, sweating, anxiety).
