ARRHYTHMIAS-VENTRICULAR TACHYCARDIA (VT)

1. Ventricular tachycardia (VT) is defined as 3 or more sequential QRS complexes of ventricular origin at a rate of 100 bpm or faster.

2. VT can be defined as nonsustained (asymptomatic with duration of less than 30 seconds) or sustained (symptomatic or duration of more than 30 seconds).

3. VT can also be classified as monomorphic or polymorphic.
