ARRHYTHMIAS-MONOMORPHIC VT MANAGEMENT

1. Stable: Give IV amiodarone.

2. Hemodynamically compromised: Shock.

3. Unstable and refractory to electrical cardioversion: give IV amiodarone/procainamide.

4. VT specifically with acute MI: most use amiodarone first. IV lidocaine can be useful.

5. For other drugs - refer to VT DRUGS.
