RIGHT CORONARY ARTERY

ORIGIN
1. Arising from the right coronary sinus, it passes b/w the right auricle + infundibulum of right ventricle.

COURSE
2. Runs vertically down the AV groove to the inferior (diaphragmatic) surface of the heart.

3. Gives off 5 branches and terminates by passing backwards to anastamose with the circumflex branch of left coronary at the lower part of the left atrium.

4. Most hearts (85%) are right dominant.
