HEART-CORONARY SINUS & VEINS

1. Sits in the posterior AV groove and opens into the right atrium.

TRIBUTARIES
2. Small cardiac vein - accompanies the marginal branch of right coronary. May enter the lower end of the sinus or drain directly into the RA.

3. Middle cardiac vein - accompanies the posterior IV a. Enters into the termination of the sinus.

4. Posterior vein of left ventricle - joins the sinus to the left of the middle cardiac vein.

5. Great cardiac vein - accompanies the LAD + left circumflex a. Enters the upper left end of the sinus.

6. Oblique vein of the left atrium - runs down into the left end of the sinus.
