TYPICAL CERVICAL VERTEBRAE-FORAMINA

1. The basivertebral foramina are wider apart in the cervical than the thoracic or lumbar vertebrae.
2. The intervertebral foramina are bounded anteriorly by - both cervical vertebra + uncovertebral joint + disc.
3. The VA passes through the foramen transversarium + DRG lies behind it.
4. The vertebral foramen is triangular in cross-section.
