1. Junction of the pedicle and the lamina.
2. Carries the costal facet.
3. Tip of the T/P gives attachment to the costotransverse ligament.
4. The upper + lower borders carry weak intertransverse ligaments + muscles.

MUSCULAR ATTACHMENTS
5. Components of the transversospinales = rotators, multifidus, semispinalis thoracis, semispinalis cervicis.
6. Component of the erector spinae = longismus thoracis.
