BLADDER-WALL

1. The bladder wall is made of smooth muscle arranged in whrols and spirals and lined by transitional epithelium.

2. Its apex points to the pubic symphysis, its triangular base lies backwards in front of rectum or vagina, 2 inferolateral surfaces cradled by the levator ani.
