1. Scalenus medius - separated from the SA (which lies anterior) by the SCA + anterior rami of C5-T1.

2. Second part of the SCA - that part which lies behind the SA.

3. Costocervical trunk - arises from the second part of the SCA, behind the SA.

4. Roots of the brachial plexus.
