DERMATOMES OF THE NECK

1. C1 - does not supply any skin.

2. Greater auricular nerve (posterior ramus of C2) - supplies skin over the back of the neck, extending to the occipital region of the scalp, auricle and angle of mandible.

3. Third occipital nerve (posterior ramus of C3) - supplies skin over the cylindrical part of the neck.
