ANTERIOR COMPARTMENT OF LEG-EXTENSOR DIGITORUM LONGUS

1. O: lateral tibial condyle + proximal anterior interosseous membrane + proximal fibula.
2. I: Its 4 tendons pass beneath the superior + inferior extensor retinacula to insert into the dorsum of middle + distal phalanges of lateral 4 toes.
4. NS: deep peroneal n.
5. A: extension of lateral 4 toes + dorsiflexion of the foot.
