SEGMENTAL INNERVATION OF SKIN-DERMATOMES

1. One walks on L5 (medial) and S1 (lateral), sits on S3 and shits out of S4!

2. Posteriorly, S2 is a narrow strip along the middle of the hamstrings & calf.

3. It separates the L3 (medial) from L2 (lateral) on the hamstrings; L4 (medial) from L5 (lateral) on the calf.

4. The sympathetic grey raus (umnmyelinated, post-ganglionic) fibers join every spinal nerve and accompany them to supply dermatomes.
