ANTERIOR ABDOMINAL WALL-PERITONEAL FOLDS

ABOVE UMBILICUS
1. Falciform ligament - contains the ligamentum teres in its free edge. This is the remnant of the obliterated umbilical vein.

BELOW UMBILICUS
2. Median umbilical fold - contains obliterated urachus.
3. B/L Medial umbilical folds - contains obliterated umbilical artery.
4. B/L Lateral umbilical folds - contain the inferior epigastric vessels.
