GALLBLADDER-RELATIONS

1. Superior - visceral surface of the liver, anterior abdominal wall.
2. Inferior - transverse colon, D2 segment of the duodenum (or pylorus of the stomach).
3. Anterior - visceral surface of the liver, transverse colon, 9th costal cartilage.
4. Posteior - right kidney, distal D1 segment and proximal D2 segment of the duodenum.
5. Medial - D1 segment of the duodenum, free margin of the lesser omentum and epiploic foramen.
6. Lateral - right lobe of the liver.
